Murray Rothbard (Murray Newton Rothbard)

Austrian School, author of Man, Economy, and State

Rothbard was born March 2, 1926, in New York City, U.S. His father was David Rothbard and mother Rae Rothbard.

1945 graduated with a Bachelor of Mathematics from Columbia University (Columbia University).

1953 married Joan (JoAnn Beatrice Schumacher)

It took Rothbar to complete his doctorate because he had a problem with his mentor, Joseph Dorfman, who rejected his dissertation.

Shortly after completing his PhD, Rothbard was funded by the William Volker Fund in writing the book, where he later went into work with the Volker Fund in a senior wikerah position.

1962 wrote Man, Economy and State out

This year, Volker's fund shut down, forcing Rothbard to find a new job, with him taking a job as a book instructor at the Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute in economics to engineering students.

1976 Co-founded the Center for Liberatran Studies

1977 co-founded the Journal of Libertarian Studies

1982 co-founded the Ludwig von Mises Institute.

1986 moved to work at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, where he was a professor of economics (S.J. Hall Distingshed Professor of Economics)

1995 January 7, died of a food attack
