โคห์อินนอร์ (Kohinoor) โคห์อินนอร์ เป็นเพชรที่เจียรไนแล้วที่มีน้ำหนัก 105.5 กะรัต (21.12 กรัม) ปัจจุบันเป็นเพชรประดับยอดพระมงกุฏของสหราชอาณาจักร โคห์อินนอร์เป็นเพชรที่ขุดจากบริเวณพื้นที่สามเหลี่ยมปากแม่น้ำโคทาวารี (Godavari delta) จึงถูกจัดเป็นเพชรโกลคอนด้า (Golconda diamond) ตามแหล่งที่มา ซึ่งไม่รู้ว่าขุดจากเหมืองแห่งไหนชัดเจน แต่สันนิษฐานว่าน่าจะเป็นเหมืองโคลเลอร์ (Kollur Mine) ในสมัยของราชวงศ์กากาติยะ (Kakatikya dynasty, 1163-1323) โดยที่ไม่ได้มีการบันทึกน้ำหนักเริ่มต้นของเพชรเอาไว้อย่างชัดเจน ต่อมาโคห์อินนอร์ถูกนำไปประดับไว้ในวิหารเจ้าแม่กาลี (Bhadrakali Temple) ที่เมืองวารันกาล (Warangal) 1303 ในศตวรรษที่ 14 สุลต่านอะลาด์ดิน คาลจี (Alauddin Khalji) แห่งรัฐสุลต่านเดลฮี (Delhi Sultanate) ได้ยกทัพมารุกรานรัฐทางตอนใต้ของอินเดีย ก็ได้นำโคห์อินนอร์กลับไปด้วย 1526 บาเบอร์ (Zahir-ud-Bin Babur) แห่ง Turco-Mongol ได้บุกอินเดีย และก็ได้นำเพชรกลับไปด้วย ซึ่งราชวงศ์โมกุล (Mughal) ปกครองดินแดนทางตอนเหนือของอินเดีย ปากีสถาน บังกลาเทศ…
