Pyinsarupa (ပဉ္စရူပ) พินสะรูปะ เป็นสัตว์ในจิตนาการของพม่า ซึ่ง พินสะรูปะ มีความหมายว่า “5 รูป” ที่ประกอบไปด้วยสัตว์ 5 ชนิด คือ ช้าง, วัว, ม้า, ปลาตะเพียน, และม้ามังกร (တိုးနရား tonara, โตนารา) ซึ่งโตนารา หรือม้ามังกรก็เป็นสัตว์ในความเชื่อ ที่ว่าอาศัยอยู่ในแถบเทือกเขาหิมาลายา แต่ว่าบางที พินสะรูปะ ก็มีการสร้าง โดยใช้ สิงโต, ช้าง,ควาย, ปลาตะเขียน, และหงษ์ พินสะรูปะ เป็นสัญลักษณ์ของสายการบินเมียนม่า (Myanmar Airways International) ตามวัฒนธรรมล้านนาของชาวเหนือของไทย เรียก พินสะรุปะ ว่า “พญาลวง” โดยอธิบายว่า “ลวง” มาจาก “หลง” ที่แปลว่า “มังกร” ในภาษาจีน ซึ่งเล่ากันว่า ฟ้าแล๊บฟ้าร้อง เกิดจากการที่ พญาลวง วิ่งเล่นอยู่บนท้องฟ้า จึงเรียกปรากฏการณ์…
